TENDL-2015

Random ENDF files

Last update: 17 June 2016

Random nuclear data files can be useful to repeat identical simulations with different nuclear data. This is the whole idea behind TMC (Total Monte Carlo). For more information, please read our paper.

Random nuclear data libraries are provided in the ENDF-6 format for reactions induced by neutrons up to 20 MeV. In a "random file", all the nuclear data are randomly varied. This includes cross sections, angular distributions, double differential data, gamma and neutron emissions, isomeric ratios, and for actinides nu-bar and fission neutron spectra. These files are produced following the TENDL scheme, and randomly varying model parameters.

Random ENDF files were produced during previous years with different versions of TENDL: TENDL-2014 ( with for instance 10 000 U235, U235 and Pu239 files), and TENDL-2013.

Below are some of the random files from the TENDL-2015 library. If more are needed, please contact us.
