TENDL is a perfect library, which includes deficiencies. They can be related to the content as
well as to the format. To inform users and to define what needs to be fixed, here is a list
of reported problems.
-
23.06.2024. There may be some inconcistencies related to the isomeric production in thermal neutron capture: extension to low energies and missing 0.023 eV energy
-
19.06.2024. The file Be9 + alpha may lead to an error with MCNP, due to missing photon production.
-
31.05.2024. For the neutron sub-library, a number of isomeric states in MF8/MT4 and MF10/MT4 is missing. They
were present in the previous versions of TENDL (e.g. Pb204m, Fe54, Ag107). This comes from the new limit in
the number of inelastic channels, applied for TENDL-2023.
